Business Visa
Foreign citizens who hold a single-entry or multiple-entry business visa in Indonesia are permitted to participate in business talks, purchase goods, or even negotiate potential business deals within the country. However, you have to keep in mind that these types of Indonesian visas prohibit you from generating any income. To do so, you will need an Indonesian work permit.
Investor Kitas
There are two types of investor KITAS or investment visa in Indonesia: Index 313 which allows investors to stay in the country for one year, and Index 314 for two years of validity. Both allow its holder to enter and leave the country multiple times. To obtain an investor KITAS in Indonesia, foreigners who are the director or commissioner of a company are required to have invested a minimum of IDR 1.1 billion. If the investors do not hold such titles in the company, they must invest a minimum of IDR 1.125 billion to obtain an investor KITAS Indonesia.
Tourism Visa
an Indonesian tourist visa is one you should obtain when planning your vacation* in the country. This visit visa will allow you to stay in Indonesia for 30 days and is extendable several times with a maximum stay of 6 months. You should note that all types of visit visas in Indonesia will not allow you to work and generate income. To do that, you will need an Indonesian work permit and KITAS.
Visa on Arrival
an Indonesian visa on arrival is an entry permit you obtain upon arrival in the country, so you do not need to deal with pre-arrival bureaucratic complexity. Given its efficiency, a visa on arrival in Indonesia is recommended to those who visit the country on a tight schedule. Specifically, the authority grants* an Indonesian visa on arrival to foreigners who travel for business purposes, vacations, and social visits. A visa on arrival in Indonesia will allow its holders to stay in the country for 30 days, starting from their arrival, and extendable for another 30 days when needed.
